Products and Companies that use Aborted Fetuses

It looks like the movie Soylent Green was not only a movie but might be a premonition. We live in a wicked wicked world.
It has come to my attention if you use products created by Nestle, Kraft, Cadbury, Starbucks, PepsiCo, and until recently Campbells and Solae, you are using products created in part by testing on aborted fetuses. That's right, aborted fetuses are used under the name of “artificial flavors” to test these products.
A pro-life group called “Children of God for Life” has claimed that the company Senomyx, trading under the stock market ticker of SNMX, is using aborted fetuses to test for enhanced flavor in their products. Children of God for Life is a watch-group that follows the use of aborted fetuses in products. When confronted with the use of fetal cells in it's creation and testing of artificial flavoring, companies Campbell and Solae ended it's relationship with Senomyx.
According to the Weston A. Price Foundation:
"Senomyx's salt taste, savory flavor, and sweet flavors -- as well as all their other flavor enhancers -- are purposefully developed so that they stimulate your taste buds without them actually tasting anything ... Much like MSG, these flavor enhancers operate on the neurological level to produce these reactions ...
Since they are not actually ingredients but rather 'enhancers' they are not required to be listed in a package's ingredients except as 'artificial flavors' ... [And] because very small amounts of the additives are used ... Senomyx's chemicals have not undergone the FDA's usual safety approval process for food additives."
These chemicals are what makes your taste buds think that they are tasting something salty or sweet without adding salt or sugar to the product. The fetuses are not in the food, their cells are used to determine if certain chemicals taste salty or sweet to humans. Then, if they do taste salty or sweet to humans, those chemicals are put in the food in place of salt and/or sugar. The aborted fetus cells are used to test the chemicals. The Children of God for Life is calling for a boycott of these companies and I have to tell you after discovering this it should not be difficult to stop using these products.
Here is a list of just some of the products: Kraft Mayonnaise, Pepsi, Nestle Chocolate Milk, Starbucks Iced Coffee Drinks, Nestea, Nestle Ice Cream products and Kraft Salad Dressings.
It has been reported that in certain Asian countries aborted babies have been dried and then ground up and put in capsules to then be sold on the black market as vitamins to enhance sexual ability. The link to that report is below. As repugnant as that is can you say that what we are doing is any different? If this isn't your line in the sand to stop buying and supporting these companies I don't know what is.
For those of you who simply cannot believe that something this horrible could be true then ask yourself why haven't these companies sued this organization for libel? They are wealthy companies and this is a small organization; it wouldn't take much to shut them up if it isn't true. Additionally, why did Campbell and Solae end their relationship with Senomyx after this came out?
Moreover, I find just as disturbing as the content of this article the fact that the mainstream media has been completely silent about it. If this isn't news I don't know what is! And, yet I haven't heard a word about this from any news source whatsoever. I suppose that that should come as no surprise since our media is owned by these very companies that use aborted fetuses in their products.

I read in an article the same. they are not actually putting aborted fetal cells into those products, they are using these cells in the laboratory to develop chemicals to make it taste better. Even though they can use cells derived from other forms of life, but they choose to use the fetal stem cells.

Yes, I do "The Dirt Farmer" and the reason I do is that two of those companies when confronted with this removed their affiliation with Senomyx. Furthermore, if it were not so, the other companies would most definitely have sued The Children of God for Life.
I read about this earlier this year. Even though she used one source, I have seen a report of this in another, more mainstream location. I can't remember where, but I wrote an article about it and put the source there.

I don't think the cause-effect you're purporting is that clear cut. I can think of many reasons the companies would act as they have done--and none of the reasons have anything to do with the veracity of the group's claim.

companies can do some pretty drastic things but i really doubt they'd go to the trouble of getting licenses to conduct stem cell research for flavouring, even if they tried i think they'd get refused on unethical grounds. its not like you can just pick up these materials without any bother or grounded reasons.

Brie and on what grounds do you think this company got a license for embryonic stem cell research? I'm pretty sure that they would not have been allowed a license for product development or as you say the manufacture of a product that is then sold on. There simply is not enough supply of Stem cells for such uses anyway. Even in the case that they did use stem cells for research whats to say the company didn't source those stem cells from Bone marrow rather then from human embryos?
I fear the true facts have been misconstrued here and the truth is being bent to benefit and to further the agenda of others.
Well Paul, if you feel so strongly maybe you should look into it further. It's enough for me that they were confronted with this, didn't deny it, didn't sue for libel and other companies backed off after being confronted.

I would avoid the companies mentioned in the article.
they stopped theyre relations with the company due to bad publicity and nothing more. whether they use cells or not. the smallest amount of bad publicity could potentially destroy a business and campbells been around long enough to realize a bad venture. Not saying they dont do it. but because they cut ties with the company is saying alot. i mean.. if your best friend started smoking crack, would u cut ties or join in?
I guess Kraft, Pepsi, Starbuck et al doesn't care about bad publicity? I don't think that's why they stopped using the products.

I've conducted some research into this and have come up with the following summary.
This is actually nothing to do with stem cells.
The cells in question hek 293 appear to be used as a scientific utility cell by that I mean they are used in science due to there ease of use and wide applicability to scientific study.
Generally it appears they are used in the study of viruses and proteins. Therey where indeed originally derived from human embryonic kidney cells grown in tissue culture.
They where discovered back in the 1970's and have been widely-used in cell biology research for many years. HEK 293 cells are very easy to grow and transfect very readily.
This means two things the likely hood of the sources for hek 293 in the modern day is unlikely to be from embryonic kidney cells (these things will be grown on an industrial scale) and secondly there widespread use means that there is likely to be many products in our lives by which this cell has had a role to play ranging from food to medicine.
It would appear that Senomyx have used hek 293 in there research to reverse engineer human taste receptors in order to derive products such as that in question.
Susbtance 951 a chemical that is used to amplify the sweetness of sugar in foods thereby allowing the manufacture to reduce the amount of sugar used in that food.
Take what you will from the above, but unfortunately science and its discoveries can at times be rather grim certainly at its discover phases. heh 293 cells may indeed have controversial beginnings but Susbtance 951 is a completely different substance whose discovery was simply aided through the use of hek 293.
So in summary no Fetuses in your products, just less sugar.
I too was shocked by this information, however on closer inspection it seems a little misleading.
Fiction:
Aborted fetal cell lines are in food products.
Fact:
They are not in the final product consumed by the public. Instead they are used in the research and development of the artificial flavor enhancers. These aborted fetal cells possess proteins that express taste receptors which produce a chemical signal that lets Senomyx researchers know they have achieved the exact flavor they are trying to develop.
So they aren't actually in our food, they are just used in the research of new flavours.
To me this doesn't seem too shocking to learn.
I guess when they made lampshades out of Jews, that was better than frying them up and eating them for lunch? Same thing to me. Not only that but no one really knows what is going on and what is getting into these products. I've done enough research on the New World Order that it wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out that they are indeed in the products themselves.

yuck, what Paul said is still very creepy! Even if it isn't a fetus, right after abortion is legal, they are creating new cells from them, so if its on a massive scale, they are still originally from a fetus....GAG!!! Wouldn't it be ok to use products that quit using it? if so how long would it take effect to know its not on the shelf? The comment over Gerber though, I won't touch them, Juicy juice or motts with a ten foot pole because they knowingly have 3x's the arsenic in their juice and they give it to baby's and tot's and claim "we are doing nothing wrong because the FDA approves" thats why the Dr. OZ show exposed it, if the FDA won't do it, we consumers are asking them to do something about it! Autism, cancer etc can all be due to high arsenic levels children consume on a daily basis!
Personally, I use very little packaged/processed foods. I just don't trust these large corporations and I don't want to give them my money. Also, it's cheaper and better for you to make things from scratch.

why after some many years and now u have so much to say about this...what gives? ...have never heard this not even in the news...well I pray for everything I eat and that's what my heavenly father tell us all to do.
This is how we go from testing on animals and now we get to test on humans? Eating real ordinary food keeps getting harder every day and the consequences are getting impossible to even figure out. I am unsure how much of this article is explained correctly but we are headed down a very bad path already in terms of health. Explaining the things I already know is only just now becoming known to many people. Genetically modified everything starting with food needs to be seriously addressed by a real FDA that is not owned by corporations.
I agree, the FDA is a joke! The best thing to do is to grow as much food as you can and to eat food bought directly from small farms (if you can). And it goes without saying to absolutely stay away from packaged foods.
The comment about arsenic I agree with. They already know that if you consume to much, you'll later be diabetic. Who knows what all else?

Titus 1:15 states: "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." /I wish I would be pure:)/ Not that this case wouldn't be sick enough, there are far sicker things which are hidden from our sights because of Gods glory. (Btw Imo the symbolic aspect of this case is far more sicker then the actual material aspect of it...) Please don't get me wronng Ms. Hoffman I do appreciate your work and I am quite convinced that your intentions are good.
The only reason that comes to my mind why anyone should consider not buying those products is the following: if one knows that these are some fruits of the workings of the evil, then one shouldn't deliberatly multiply the sins of those committing those horrid things. Please do not heap coals of fire on their heads. Please do love your enemies and pray for them, because even if this is not seen right now, believe me they are in constant terrible pain because they reject God. Please have sympathy for them because they are so drunk, that they do not even know what they are doing. They are so corrupted that they hardly resemble the glorious state they were once in. Or do we fight against men?
A practical advice that helps me getting through these times: Examine yourself! If any notion causes the fear to grow inside your heart, then you should reject it. Even if these claims are true, they make me more frightened, so it can't be good for me, because that I know for sure, God does not want me to be in the state of fear. But I also know some person who feeds on my fear and I do not want to resemble His image, that's for sure.

To all the naysayers that think this isn't happening, as of January 26th, 2012, Oklahoma Senator Ralph Shortey has introduced legislation to prohibit the practice of using aborted human baby (fetus) cells in food. Unfortunately, Mr. Shortey is a state level politician, and this hasn't been introduced at the federal level (yet). Kudos to Mr. Shortey.

I am a information junkie but, I only like the "good stuff" :) Thanks for info on these companies... WOW, it reminds me that what the Bible says about Mothers will eat their babies, Fathers will eat their sons, etc... literally this is happening. I think this is evidence of a long history of the 'globalists' that run the world including huge shares in these various companies that are multi national corporations who have or have had family members involved in eugenics and the Darwinian attitude towards their fellow man. What we have is the Christian vs the secular viewpoint on man and his value as a creature - one says man is created in the image and likeness of God, thereby making man infinitely valuable as he has an immortal soul to lose or save, the other that man is merely a creature to be used or discarded like any other material item on this planet that will turn to dust eventually. There is your battle, folks, and there it will remain. I am grateful as a Christian to find out about this. Between the GMO foods making everyone allergic and coming down with various immune system responses like everyone developing cancer and arthritic conditions at younger and younger ages, and then this, it behooves everyone to make every effort they can to (a) make their food from SCRATCH no matter what effort - even if that means you have to give up on your sitcoms and your football and your Twilight movies! and (b) try to buy organic and locally whenever and wherever possible. These big corporations are destroying our country and the world; and the same people behind this sort of thing are the ones manipulating the global economic crash to bring us all to our knees to accept the world government. It's been in the works. This is just another part of the dehumanization of the masses.

I spent an entire day researching pepsico.com online. I read and printed the s SEC letters and all info regarding the use of aborted kidney cells for enhanced sweetener research. It is true. PepsiCo has a contract for the research. I have boycotted all PepsiCo products. It"s a big list, not just soda. It's also Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell, Quaker cereals, Rice A Roni, and more. I haven't heard about Kraft. I will research kkthem, also. Oh, to find the correct SEC letters, you must search letters that contain the word "kidney" when you check PepsiCo .

I'm glad to see some fighters on here. We are and will always be mosquitoes fighting elephants. The elephants are unaffected. Large evil companies like these employ workers just like you and me who may never know their work is supporting corruption. You would need to start a war to get your point across but by then you would be considered the crazy one by the brainwashed people of our world. People would rather look the other way because it is much easier and less stressful for most to take the easy way out.

Hi thanks for posting this. I find it disgusting they take cells from murdered babies and culture them for 40 years using them for testing. Those people did not sign any document to offer their bodies to science. Can't anyone see what is wrong with this?
We have a very criminal society..that allows this sort of thing.
Sometimes I feel so sheltered. That's how the big corporations want it though. Thank goodness there is always someone with some kind of moral fiber in their conscience that leaks this information to enlighten the rest of us.

well at first I thought it would be due to a tainted water supply...which I can believe but this is so far fetched that You may want to provide some links to real proof, because anyone can mak this up, the internet is great for other media besides main stream but it is also a venting ground for revenge, slander, and just conspiracy theories to no end...Im not big on those companies anyway, they are government cheese, subsidized product/crap with no health benfitis what so ever, still I would like to see some references... it isnt even legal...???
