I fear that many people do not understand the correlation between bailouts, taxation and slavery, if it doesn't affect them immediately they are oblivious. So I will attempt to make the correlation clear in this article.
Recently, we have seen the upheaval in Greece. Several years ago it was the United States. Who knows which country will be next. So the solution in Greece is the same as it was in the United States the all popular bail out. What exactly happens when countries and corporations are bailed out...let's think about this.
First a large sum of money, be it billions or trillions, is transferred from some organization like the Federal Reserve or the IMF or the World Bank into the coffers of either another large organization or into a corporations like GMC. That money is made up money. Try and wrap your head around that...IT IS MADE UP MONEY, MONEY OUT OF THIN AIR, NUMBERS ON A COMPUTER!. The number is then added to the national debt to be paid back in taxes. So services are cut and taxes are raised to pay the debt and the interest on the debt. The way the money is paid back is through YOUR LABOR. YOUR LABOR is what is real. The higher the taxes the more you have to work in order to feed, clothe and shelter your family. That is why people are revolting in Greece. The only reason people haven't done the same in the United States is that we were able to print our own money and now we have the pundits telling us everything is OK. We are like the frog boiling in water...as long as the water gets turned up steadily (they are hoping) we wont notice that we are being boiled alive. As long as the vichy media keep telling us everything is OK, the economy is getting better, we can pretend that everything is OK. The Greeks, however, seem to understand what is going on and that is why they are revolting.
It's elementary my dear.

YOU STOLE MY HUB BRIE! AUGH!
Aren't you supposed to be at work or something?
I'm just teasing you... but I was just finishing up a slightly related hub when this popped up on my computer.
Yes, there is no money, its all thin air - just numbers on a score card which WE get to pay for with our labor. They want to run it up so high there is no way to possibly pay it off.
What I don't understand is why so many are in on it, when in the end, those at the top are going to kick those helping them down into the pit with us.
Lemmings dancing with joy, following the pied piper to their destructive end; and calling us crazy along the way.
keep the faith...

Jeff,
Not all hubs are meant to be professional, sometimes they are just rants and opinions. Brie Hoffman has many, many substancial articles here with good research and verifiable facts. People who read her work often and subscribe to her posts, know this.
There is an old saying, if you can't say something nice, keep your mouth shut. I happen to like Brie Hoffman's work and the person behind it too. I find your comments coarse, demeaning, unprofessional, hypocritical, and less than that of a gentleman. You sir are a cad. Go troll the so-called professional blogs you speak of and leave your comments for those worthy of your "higher-than-thou" opinions.
Sorry Brie, I know you're a big girl - but it just rubbed my feathers wrong.
LOL *click*
Gotta love it!
Brie I leave all the hateful stupid stuff up, I like the world to see the moron left we deal with, and those lacking common sense, its kinda funny to me for them to think they are making some bold profound statement, when they are really just showing ignorance, good write!
Brie, this hub is truly an enlightened for me;the real purpose of bailouts money is to throw people into more poverty-enslavement.thank you so much :)
I'm thinking we lost much of the fourth estate back in 2008.
As for the bailouts? Although most people may agree that they don't like the idea of bailouts, I'm wondering if they truly have a clue of what the long term ramifications can lead to or if they simply don't care. Thanks Brie.
The disintegrating middle class.
Supposedly "they" are supposed to already be aware of this. I guess they're expecting to be able to outsource slave labor to third world countries, to preserve the foundation of their "democracy"... but the world is shrinking. It's more and more apparent that all countries are connected, and that no fortress-like isolationism can exist without looking after the situation outside of the "fortress" walls; and yet... they're accelerating in that direction.
I really think that we need to let big business fail. It's the only way for them to learn responsibility toward the situation beyond their immediate short-term bottom lines. And of course, that ultimately boils down to us caring more about local business... essentially caring more about each other.
I know someone who has a bumper sticker on the back of her car with a picture of a man in a suit and the words "They don't care about you". I've a feeling that unfortunately someone either rips it off, or her car gets vandalized :(
Do you think that the message in that bumper sticker is a useful reminder? Or just toxic/divisive and not for the best?
...
The Greeks... well... I wish them luck in standing up against taxation and the IMF. Hopefully they'll adopt regulations to avoid corporate corruption, it will work, and other countries can learn and so avert a similar fate for a while.
So do I. People need to stop feeling like someone else is going to figure everything out for them and look out for their best interest. While it's a negative message, I think it has positive results in that it might get people to consider who actually DOES care about them, and caring about people in general... so it's a negative which encourages a positive. Hopefully.
Why am I so sure that somebody is going to just lash out on account of it though? Maybe I really am too cynical...
I always tell these dumb kids that Lincoln never freed the slaves, all he did was induct the rest of us into slavery. I know technically Lincoln dsid not free them and it was actually an act of congress but since everyone believes he did I just use this as a line to get my point across regarding the tax system.
I do not know who is pulling the strings that bind all these world leaders including our own but they are mighty powerful. Imagine , we have the Pres, Vice-pres, Speaker and half of the house giving a standing O to a socialist criminal Pres from the south of us as he berades America on her immigration laws when his own countries immigration laws are tantamount to barbaric.
We need to replace each and every one of these traiterous wretches in the white house and whoever aligns themselves with them. They need to be tried, convicted and hung in the square for all the world to see that "We the People" will no longer allow ourselves to be abused.
AJust to add to my last comment. Regarding the immigration circus the other day in Washington and the recent announcement of the director of INS that he would not enforce Arizona's deportation laws.
I have been a legal resident since I was 2 years old. I am 45 now. Every time I go to renew my greencard I get shit from these lowlife fed workers for one reason or another.
The circus in Washington and blatant refusal by our elected officials to enforce immigration laws enrages the shit out of me. Who the fuck do these people think they are?
I do not want this nation to turn into a 3rd world south of the border socialist shithole where only a few are able to achieve the good life and the rest of us have to fight amongst ourselves for fucking crumbs.
Why are these politicians not in prison? And this includes Obama.
You Hit it right on the head! Saw on the news that hesd of the EU is concerned that Greece will not be a Democracy much longer due to all this insanity.
666 anyone?
No? Off with your head!

except, that money was given as a loan, and the companies that were bailed out have begun paying it back. check the receipts column of the government balance sheet.

It sure is elementary. You pretty much summed it up. It's the ultimate jedi-mind trick. Slavery was never abolished just rearrranged and broadened. I guess they figured why enslave one race when we can enslave em all? Next after they play with the economy; there will be the tracking agenda they are already setting the stage for that as we speak i.e Christmas day bomber, the "attempted" bombing in Times Square. Making people so afraid that they will accept ANY type of security The United Snakes will provide. Including veri-chips and Fema "relocation" centers. Good hub as always brie ~hugs~
