Free Stuff - Use it, reuse it or sell it on ebay!

It's amazing how much free stuff we have right under our noses. We have stuff we didn't even know we had. I started thinking about that great big blob in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The United States is the largest consumer in the world, we buy more, we use more and we throw away more than any other country that has ever existed. Well,not only is it a terrible environmental problem, but it also wastes a lot of money, something most of us are in dire need of these days.

Here are some helpful tips on how to make use of the free stuff you already have, how to use it, reuse it or how to sell it on eBay.

Do you throw away your vegetables after cutting them up for a dish? Don't do it, either freeze them to be thrown into a pot for broth or if they have the seeds on them,cultivate the seeds. It's not hard and people will buy them or you can use them in your own garden.

Don't throw away old clothes! After they have been used, remove the zipper, buttons and harvest the material for patches and quilts. Use the lint in the dryer for batting!

Do you throw away plastic baggies? Why not wash them out? They are perfectly good and can be used over and over if you simply wash them and hang them to dry. You can also crochet with plastic bags and make purses (see vid below), just use your imagination!!!!

When something is really too old to be used or broken, why not put your creative hat on and make some art? People do it all the time with broken dishes, laundry fuzz, rags and just about anything you could imagine. Just think of the possibilities. If you are stuck for an idea get on the internet,Google the items you have and see what is out there, it may give you an idea. There are more things out there these days and we have more access to it then we can possibly think of...search a little you will find something to do with your free stuff and who knows you might just come across a new invention, hobby or better yet income.

I moved last year. While moving I had a lot of “free stuff” that I didn't want to keep, but it was also“stuff” that I knew was worth something. Living in the city makes it difficult to just throw your stuff on the front lawn and have a garage sale, so what is a girl to do? I started selling things on eBay. What I noticed is that there was all kinds of stuff selling on eBay, stuff I didn't even know people wanted. Things like buttons and Weight Watcher Guide Books (the kind you get at the meetings) and seeds and just everything. So now before I throw any of my free stuff away I look to see if it might sell on eBay. One thing you have to watch for is the shipping, make sure you put adequate shipping otherwise you might just end up paying someone else to take your free stuff.

Finally, just in case you don't have any free stuff, Craigslist has lots of it! Look on Craigslist in the“For Sale” section under Free, there are all kinds of things in there you didn't know you needed. Free stuff you could sell, free stuff you could use and free stuff you can make things out of. All that is really needed is a little imagination and worlds can be created! Now Get To It!
