The Antichrist will be a Muslim!
I have recently been researching a theory that the Antichrist will be Muslim and have found the evidence quite overwhelming as well as terribly frightening.
Did you know that the Muslims are waiting for their Messiah? They call him the Mahdi. Did you know that the Muslims are awaiting the imminent return of Jesus Christ,they call him Isa. The Muslims will rule the world, it is the final empire spoken about in the book of Revelation.
(Revelation17:10) And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.(Revelation17:11) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth,and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
According to Joel Richardson in his book Antichrist, Islams awaited Messiah the kingdom that is (or was when John wrote Revelation was Rome), the sixth kingdom, the kingdom that took over Jerusalem was the Turkish Empire or Islamic Caliphate,the seventh kingdom. The beast is of the seven (the Islamic Caliphate which ended in 1909) and becomes the eighth or last kingdom.
If you have never read any books on life within a Muslim state I hope that you will take the time to do so, it is terrifying to say the least, especially for women and non-Muslims.
There are 6 similarities of the Muslim Messiah, Mahdi and the Antichrist as well as similarities to the Muslim Jesus to the False Prophet.
The Mahdi will make a peace treaty with Israel for 7 years:
a. Muhammad said: “There will be four peace agreements between you and the Romans (Christians). The fourth agreement will be mediated through a person who will be from the progeny of Hadrat Harron (Honorable Aaron -Moses' brother) and will be upheld for seven years. From the book “Antichrist, Islams awaited Messiah” by Joel Richardson p. 48
b. (Daniel 9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The Mahdi will ride on a white horse:
According to Joel Richardson in his book Antichrist, Islam's Awaited Messiah, in their book “Al Mahdi and the End of Tim” Egyptian authors Izzat and Arif quote Ka'b al Ahbar as saying “I find the Mahdi recorded in the books of the Prophets...For instance, the Book of Revelation says “And I saw and behold a white horse. He that sat on him...went forth conquering and to conquer.” They go on to say: “It is clear that this man is the Mahdi who will rid the white horse and judge by the Qur'an (with justice) and with whom will be men with marks of prostration on their foreheads (marks on their foreheads from bowing in prayer with the head to the ground five times daily) b. (Revelation 6:2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The Mahdi will change the times and laws:
The Mahdi will impose Islamic law and the Islamic Calendar, other religions have laws and different calendars but have never sought to impose it on others. b. (Daniel 7:25) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
The Mahdi will usher in great prosperity:
According to Joel Richardson in his book Antichrist, Islam's Awaited Messiah in At-Tabarani, related by Abu Hurayra, as quoted by “Izzat and Arif, p 9: “In those years my community will enjoy a time of happiness as such as they have never experienced before. Heaven will send rain upon them in torrents, the earth will not withhold any of its plants and wealth will be available to all. A man will stand and say, “Give to me Mahdi!” and he will say, “Take”. b. (Daniel 8:25) And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
The Mahdi will wage war against Christians and Jews:
According to Abduallrahman Kelani author of “The Last Apocalypse” “al -Mahdi will receive a pledge of allegiance as a caliph (ruler) for the Muslims. He will lead Muslims in many battles of jihad. His reign will be a caliphate that follows the guidance of the Prophet (Muhammad). Many battles will ensue between Muslims and unbelievers during the Mahdi's reign. b. (Daniel 11:33) And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. (Daniel 11:34) Now when they shall fall, they shall be assisted with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.(Daniel 11:35) And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. The Mahdi will have no desire for women a. Muslims treat women abhorrently and do not regard their wishes. b. (Daniel 11:37) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Regarding the Muslim Jesus, he most definitely resembles the Bibles description of the False Prophet and has no resemblance whatsoever to the Jesus of the Bible. Here is the description of the False Prophet otherwise known as Isa in the Muslim religion.
He will play a secondary role to the Antichrist and he will cause all to be executed who do not worship the Antichrist:
a. The Muslims believe that when Jesus or Isa returns that he will set the record straight that he really isn't the Son of God, all crosses will be removed and he will have people executed who do not convert to Islam. They believe that he will play a secondary role to the Mahdi, that the Mahdi will be greater.
b. (Revelation 13:11) And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.(Revelation 13:12) And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.(Revelation 13:13) And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,(Revelation 13:14) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.(Revelation 13:15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.(Revelation 13:16) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:(Revelation 13:17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.(Revelation 13:18) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Furthermore, the book of Revelations describes how the executions will be carried out:
(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones,and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Who executes people via beheading? The Muslims do.
Not only does the Muslim religion teach that there will be a Messiah, the Mahdi, a returning Jesus, Isa, but it also teaches that there will be an “Antichrist”, guess who the Antichrist is? He is an entity who will say that he is the King of the Jews and God himself, the REAL JESUS!
I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried! It's truly remarkable to see the End Time prophecies being laid out in front of us. Researching these things and seeing them come true is very upsetting I can understand why Daniel was sickened by these prophecies. Even so, Come Lord Jesus Come!

Brie the end times are something I believe people are getting aware of now. I think at this moment in time it is the elephant in the room no one wants to acknowledge. Look at what is going on with Israel right now. It has to happen in order for prophecy to be fulfilled.

I read this hub several times trying to understand the implications of a global Muslim police state. As with Islam today, there would be no tolerance. Those on the fringes would be cowed into submission.
It happens slowly. We have a Muslim/"Christian" in power. The RFID technology has already been implanted in humans (Mexico). Do watch your back. The sword of tomorrow is already with us. Islam does not tolerate detractors. However, you have taken this question to a new level. I must study this some more.
I would highly recommend "Antichrist, Islam's Awaited Messiah" it's the first book on my list. Read it and then give it to your friends...I've read other books about what it's like to live under Islamic Rule...truly terrifying. They are worse than the Nazi's, teaching their children to behead people, killing their own daughters. I've seen video's of this myself (before they were removed). I have to say I am very very glad I believe in a rapture. In fact I am going to do a hub on the rapture (if it hasn't already been done) because it gives me hope. However, things could get very dark before the rapture. One good thing about beheading is that it is usually fast as awful as that sounds. I have to tell you I was physically sick after researching this.

you have to know, and im not trying to offen you or invalidate your research, that everything in the bible is up to severe interpretation. And im not someone that comes from a place of disbelief. The antichrist being muslim? I think that is rather convenient given the last 10 years. These poor muslim people being persecuted because the ones in charge are corrupt.
Also, every decade that goes by has its own crisis that goes down in the history books, and when those crisis happen, people always say that jesus is comming soon. Weve been saying it since he left. So if my great great grandmother believed he would come back before she was dead, and i believe it, im pretty sure my grandchildren would end up waiting for it as well. The anti christ, well it may not be one powerful being. It may be a sort of mass chaos. We keep expecting something recogizable like a red man with a pitchfork, or some dark skinned man with a dirty face who lives in a cave or something. Maybe its more than that. Maybe if it is actually comming, were already in the midst of it, and this downward spiral that were all on could go on for another 300 years before and if anything "comes to fruition." I believe to truely be able to study the bible and interpret it for yourself, you would have to read it in its origional language of which you would have to be fluent. I mean, look at how much one man was punished for speaking against authority. you dont think that things were coverd up, left out, distorted, changed? I just hink that you should tread lightly before stating that the antichrist will be a muslim. That could anger alot of people. Ummm, I have studied the Bible for over 30 years. I have a Greek and Hebrew dictionary and this is what it says...did you even read the article? The subject of whether the Bible is true or not is another subject entirely. There are certain things that are very clear and specific in the Bible and the fact that the Anti-Christ will make a treaty with Israel for 7 years and then break it is very clear. The fact that the Muslims expect their Messiah, the Mahdi, to do the same is very clear. This is but one very clear example of why I believe this to be so.
The very fact that you bring up that others have been waiting for the End Times was also prophesied in the Bible:
(2 Peter 3:3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(2 Peter 3:4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

I'm trying to follow a paper trail as this project evolves. The supernatural element aside, the Cordoba House -- $100 million plus -- is already paid for. Muslim states will contribute as well as Muslim private interests. $100 mil is pocket change for these people. I think this will be the cornerstone of a much larger Muslim influence here. If the Brits have Sharia law you can bet it will happen here. But you are correct, I should start on a few hubs.

The earth is going through many changes and most of us are connecting more to our higher self by developing spiritual gifts.
Evil never wins out. The earth is washing away the impure by transforming itself.
There are a lot of stories in the Bible. Some true and some not. What is the most important thing is that we all think positive and connect to our spiritual selves instead of striving for error, judgment, corruption, greed, and evil.
We make our life what it is. If the mass think all these evils will occur, God help us!

I see many quotes in your article but none are from the Quran and as far as I am aware the Quran doesn't mention Mahdi at all. Also, not even the authentic hadith mention Mahdi. Belief in Mahdi is not a mainstream Muslim belief and those who do believe in him definitely do not see him as being more important than Jesus(pbuh).
To make your article stand up better, some comparative quotes from the Quran would be helpful.

I think Harun Yahyah is a shia, but shiism is not mainstream. The majority of Muslims are not waiting for the mahdi only for Jesus(pbuh).
Also, I am not disputing Hadith I am saying that the most authentic and widely accepted of them don't mention mahdi.
A lot of mainstream Muslims also believe that him who some will call the AC others will call the Mahdi so what you are saying is not unheard of even amongst Muslims but the Majority of Muslims wouldn't follow someone claiming to be the Mahdi when they don't believe that he is even due to come.
Many Muslims are not awaiting for that person who will call himself Jesus because it is well known that the AC will be trying to convince people that he is Jesus(pbuh) when he is in fact the AC and everything will be switched (what seems good is bad and v/v) that is the final test for us and will be the hardest to overcome.
Anyway... I will read the book as there are always things to learn.
Another thing, although some Muslims think that the mahdi and the AC are the same, what makes me not believe this is 1, because I am not a believer in the mahdi (I don't believe that he is coming) and 2,I thought that Christians believed that the AC will be followed by the Jews? I can't see the Jews and the Muslims agreeing on a single leader, with the Jews accepting a Muslim mahdi ruling over them, willingly enthrone him in Jerusalem and follow him, It doesn't make sense.

Well, I really think you should get the book because I can't explain everything on this Hub, but he answers all those questions. Did you watch the link I gave you? He will not "say" he is the Christ, there is another who will come that the Bible discusses who will be called the False Prophet, he might say he is Jesus. The Jesus that the Muslims believe in is not the same Jesus of the Bible.

Jesus(pbuh) won't say he is the Christ but the AC will try to say that he is the Messiah. Muslims who have studied wouldn't follow someone claiming to be Christ because that very claim is proof of the opposite.
There were many things that Harun Yahyah said that many would disagree with and he quotes from Hadith that are accepted by Shia Muslims only, he said there are things in the Quran to back up what he was saying but he never quoted anything.
I simply feel that there is little evidence within Islam itself of the reality of the Mahdi and so to base an entire theory on a weak and minor belief doesn't make sense but I will read the book.

Lets pray, for those of us who are still living will be caught up in the air during the rupture and not experience the wrath of God. Us, believers in Christ believe by this: John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
In obedience, we live to spread the word of God and introduce other to the Lord, who is our Savior and a Great Physician and Healer.

Nobody will know who the Anti-Christ is , yes he is coming but studying religions in college I don't believe the anti-christ will be Muslim. This is just another ploy that Satan has to divide us and not unite us. :)

There's so much enthusiasm into this area, of who the antichrist is and so forth, I thank God i am in His Spirit and because of that i need not worry, He knows who are His. All these things will be revealed at a time appropriate of the maker of all things, no - not muhamad, not based on the qu'ran, nor islam, nor muslim, but by the Holy Spirit of God, a father, a lover, a savior through the jesus christ of the canonized Holy Bible.

Wow well I have to give it to you on this one. At first I just figured more fear mongering. However on reading this, I gained a great respect for your writing. You do you research, and really know your stuff. Out Standing Hub here. In my opinion as I always say, Apocalypse will destroy us if we do not unite all the major religions once and for all. They all are pieces to the human puzzle. I am assured that the Antichrist will put these pieces back together.

May I pose this thought to you? The roman catholic church is about to make a treaty with Israel. The pope seems to want to believe that he is the supreme ruler of all and can dictate what we are to do and not do in religion. I personally, and mind you, this is my own personal thought here....think that the pope is going to take seat in Jerusalem and proclaim himself God. He is working toward moving in that direction...As I said. This is my own thought. And since that church has aligned itself with the Nazi German govt and protects them, what else am I able to think?? Food for thought. And since all the religious leaders, Protestant, Baptist, etc are being urged by the Pope to join again his ranks.....again...just food for thought here.....

I disagree, the pope maybe be the false prophet but even then I am unsure. And this too, is just my gut feeling as you know I am no fan of the Catholic church but I just don't think that the pope will be the anti-Christ.
I started reading on one of your hubs found myself reading even more. This is pretty deep. I've heard most of the things mentioned as a child. As wild as the mention of UFO's in one of your other hubs sound it also makes sense. It would take an entity from another universe to bring us all together. Some of the pastors I knew as a child called it Bible prophecy. They'd have these large study groups and discuss the Anti-Christ/Last days. You've really made me want to read a little more. What are your thoughts on people believing a different person is the Anti-Christ every two or three years. I do know a few people that believe or thought Pope Benedict, Barack Obama, Ronald Regan, George Bush etc. is/were the Anti-Christ
I became a Christian at the age of 17 and joined a Calvary Chapel church soon thereafter. I didn't know anything about all of this stuff until then. But since the age of 17 I have studied it intensely. I don't think any of the people you mentioned are the Anti-Christ because they don't fit. I do, however, believe that the Anti-Christ is alive and on the earth now. I believe firmly that we are living in the last days right before the Tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I think that if you are saved and looking forward to the 2nd Coming these can be very exciting times. If not, then the Bible says that men's hearts shall fail them for fear (at what is happening around them).
Trying to see who the Anti-Christ is sort of a waste of time, he will be revealed when his time has come. One thing that he will do is broker a 7 year peace treaty with Israel.
There are several books I would recommend...of course the ones I put in this hub, but also "In the Footsteps of the Messiah" by Arnold Fruchtenbaum and Chuck Missler also has some wonderful books out there. Be careful because there are a lot of crackpots out there too. I trust these guys. There is so much going on that it is exciting and scary at the same time.

how do you know if you are really saved? i have left the catholic church after they closed my church here in cleveland ohio,and have gone to a few christian churches and think i finnaly found one which i believe is teaching the right way to serve gods purpose.but how does one really know that they are saved? p.s. i like your hubs/train of thought!!
When you know God, you know. It's just like when you know anyone you know them. It's not about "going to the right church". Get down on your knees and pray to Jesus that he will come into your heart, start reading the Bible and yes go to church...but ask Jesus into your heart and to forgive your sins based on what he has done on the cross and HE will reveal himself to him. Jesus said knock and the door shall be opened to you.
Hi, i read your hub with interest as i have researched into Christians waiting for their Messiah.
I would like to correct you that Imam Mahdi is not the Messiah and it is Jesus (Isa) who will come down from the heavens to kill Dajjal (the deceiver, the liar).
Imam Mahdi will come first and as you mentioned, will lay down Islamic laws and there will be many battles to restore Islam as the true religion.
The whole world, what will be left of it, will be populated only by Muslims for 40 years while Isa is alive. after that Islam will slowly start to disappear and people will become disbelievers.
Well, maybe that is what Muslims believe but the whole world will never be populated only by Muslims, the book of Revelation is very clear that that will not happen.
brie, i think the rupture will be sonthang. i thik the end timse is where we are now . well the beganning anyways. i look for roits in the streets an brother aganst brother. once it starts it will get worster and worser. why are poeple so mean and angry. i'm learn dis abled but hope for heaven when i died. i think the mudslums are just awfll there will decopulate poeples heads at the drop of a hat that im sure of. the mudslims are spraeding thare messege of deadth. god bless brie.

I don't think you got the whole picture. I already make this connection many years ago. But I realized something is wrong. In Islam, Mahdi(a good ruler) is followed by Dajjal(antichrist), then come Prophet Isa(Jesus). In Bible, the Mahdi is NOT mentioned or deleted. Thus, people will fall for confusion. The Christians will believe that Mahdi is the antichrist (like you do now), then when Dajjal comes, the christians will think that he is Jesus. So when Prophet Isa (the real Jesus), only the Islam people know he is the real one. But christians will still think Dajjal is Jesus. You get the picture?
If you read the prophecies again, you will see how it fits together and why Christians will get so confused, for they believe the First one to come is the Antichrist, false prophet, the second to come is Jesus, where in fact they are wrong. The Madhi is really not anyone, but a very popular and wise leader who will rule over many countries. He is a great genius and will lead many advancements in education, science and faith. But the western will hold him antichrist and eventually killing him. That is the reason why Dajjal can fool so many people as Jesus. He is the false prophet.
